Welcome to the Sonic X Mario RP, a variation of the anime of what if Sonic and his friends chaos controlled to the Mushroom Kingdom instead of Earth?
Because of this, we're gonna be adapting some of the Sonic games with a Mario twist, and even vice-versa! We allow characters and elements from any of their franchise, their games, cartoons/anime, comics, etc. So let's have fun!
Mobius
A planet full of anthromorphic animals called Mobians. Their planet is riddled with zones, twisted environments that have loops and spikes at every turn. This planet is divided into two sections;
One is called the Land of the Sky, residing on the outer continents. Here is where a majority of the population resides, bathed in the light. There are many nations on these land, such as South Island.
This side of the planet are blessed (or cursed) to be home to the mighty Chaos Emeralds, gems of ultimate power and unknown origin. They have been the cause of many wars and victories over the years. They come in seven, and they follow a large green emerald that is hidden on Angel Island, the only true floating island that wanders the planet.
The other half is called the Land of Darkness and it takes place on the surface of the planet, polluted with uncontrolled energy. Very little life live her, most are monsters. In the center of ancient ruins of a city, the megalomaniac Dr. Eggman makes his main head quarters here with his evil robot army. Another known sentient organic inhabitant of this land is Blaze the Cat. The last of a royal family who says behind in the remains of her kingdom, Crisis City, forever to guard the Sol Emeralds, gems equal to the Chaos Emeralds, but they must never be in the same land together or else madness would be unleash.
The hero of this world is Sonic the Hedgehog, with his friends they have fought Dr. Eggman from taking over the rest of Mobius and getting all the Chaos Emeralds time and time again.
These adventures are from games before Sonic Adventure, everything after hasn't happened, at least not yet. Though some might vary, such as the first two Sonic Advance games.
The story begins here when Eggman has finally collected all seven chaos emeralds. To make sure he gets enough time to make his experiment, he kidnapped Cream the Rabbit to buy time. Sonic and his friends venture to Eggman's lair to stage a rescue mission, though during the process accidently activate Chaos Control with Eggman's machine. Now they have all warped away from their home planet... but to where?
Mushroom World
A world filled with wackiness and adventure. Several species live on this planet, from humans to anthros of animals, plants and even inanimate objects. There's even creatures hard to explain.
There are many lands to this world, most of them are filled with blocks floating in mid-air and secrets to be unlock. Notable land marks in this planet is the Mushroom Kingdom ruled by Princess Peach Toadstool, the DK Isles home to the kongs, Dinosaur Land where many prehistoric creatures such as the Yoshis live, and many, many, many others.
The warp pipes is said to originated from the Mushroom Kingdom, and they can go from anywhere around the world to even other dimensions such as Mobius or Earth.
The ultimate power in this world depend on wishing, and they come from stars. High above the Mushroom Kingdom is Star Haven, where seven ancient star beings called the Star Spirits watch over with the powerful Star Rod, able to grant any wish. All was at peace when suddenly... the evil King of the Koopas, Bowser invaded and sealed away the seven spirits and taken the star rod. He's planning to kidnap the Princess (again) and defeat his archenemy Mario, and this time its personal!
Restricted Characters For The Time
Because we're adapting some games, certain characters are gonna have to wait to be entered into the storyline. Some can come early (like Rouge and Cream in the anime, as they never were in Sonic Adventure or before it). So characters like Silver, Jet and such, go ahead unless they are on this list.
