 "The other world, like I said before." Crossing the street, they would head for a glass front door, like any modern business building.  "Now I feel underdressed." he grumbled, keeping the pace with the group, as they went through the automatic doors. "You think-Oooo!" Walking across a large lobby...  Walking up the ramp, Sally headed for the lobby desk. "Hey, is Professor Caninestein here?" she asked the receptionist. "Oh good evening, Ms. Acorn. Hang on while I check." and she typed on the holographic keyboard. "Oooo!" he awed more, never before have he seen holographic computers in real life. |

 Even the Princess Toadstool was pretty impressed by all of this; just quietly admiring it all. None of the technology in her kingdom met this level, unless it belonged to an evil scientist, or Bowser. |

Then, all of a sudden, someone else happened to come walking by...  "Wow, this place is pretty cool!" The girl remarked, absent-mindedly looking around as she walked. Groaning as he was helped up, he noticed his shoes untied. "What was-a that?" "Chao. They're mostly just pets, but Dark Chao tend to be mischivous. You okay?" "Oh...I'm fine. I'm used to be butt of jokes..." he sighed, untieing the knots. Just then, the lobby woman cleared her throat. "The professor isn't here, but your father is. He said you can come in, with your friends." "Oh....dad..." she groaned. She hoped he wouldn't ask her about what she been doing. He always was concern for her, when it comes to her career. "Come on." And Sally led them to a hall, past the desk. This hall was guarded by large bull-Mobian security guards. |
