Being a Kremling, Krunch has the natural abilities of clawing and snapping at his opponents or prey. He lacks real super strength, but he is stronger than the average Kritter. He also has a knack for machines, namely vehicles that he has learned while helping those race against Wizpig and his forces.
Weakness:
Krunch may drive fast vehicles but he isn't fast of his feet, he's also very prideful, and unless its by Tiny, he won't make himself a fool. Speaking of which, despite the rivalry between the species, Krunch has a crush on Tiny Kong. Unaware of her real age though... despite how dangerous she gets herself and others around her, the Kremling is love sick for her and when he isn't in lovey-dovey mode, would do anything for her, even if it means harm to him.

Krunch is a Kritter, though unlike most, he prefers to have his own way of life. He holds grudges, namely against his former boss and how he was treated and Donkey Kong for... countless beatings, even if he doesn't remember (Krunch being just another Kremling). However, at times he does know when to put aside differences as he now on 'friendlier-terms' with Diddy along with Dixie. At first was to save the islands against Wizpig, then it was just to stay on Tiny's good side, but then eventually he felt no ill will against them.
History:
Krunch was part of the Kremling Krew, then just another Kritter who was sent to fight the Kongs, capture the Crystal Coconut and just lay havoc. He finally made a name for himself when Diddy was taking a trip off DK Isle and taking Dixie and Tiny along. Believing spying on them and getting whatever information would be useful for K. Rool, Krunch followed...
Only to find out the Kongs were joining up with a bunch of other animals to battle some alien pig monster in races. A very eccetric and foward kong name Tiny, Dixie's little sister, invited Krunch. At first he was surprised at such a jester, namely for Kong... hell the girtl was even smiling and acting friendly despite her sister and her boyfriend's warning.
At first he believed he was just agreeing to complete his mission, but... for some reason his heart kept thumping. As the races went, Tiny kept making friendly gestures to the Kremling and pulling him into crazy antics. Despite all instincts telling him to get serious or get out of there, he stayed and followed the girl.
By the time the group was ready to face Wizpig, Krunch realized what it was... HE WAS IN LOVE!
During this, Diddy finally won against Wizpig and chased him away. When Krunch and the Kong returned to the island... the Kremlings ordered information from Krunch, but... he told them nothing. Though they did get intel from some Zingers and they learned Krunch helped the Kongs. For this he was out of the Kremling Krew and exiled from Crocodile Isle.
