Hm...perhaps we should have Station Square in Earth, so there is a reason to go there. The only thing is try not to do that plothole with SA2 like they did in Sonic X.

Pretty much my idea too. Just wondering if we have Mystic Ruins stay in Mobius or warped to Earth by a Chaos Control like in the anime
Speaking of which... for the Shadow arc, since we're having Sunshine adapt alongside, thinking instead of Central City, we use Delphino Isle for the plot. So Shadow stole the Emerald from a museum there
The Ark might have teleported to Mushroom Kingdom... less we're able to switch characters between worlds
