 Cocoa Island, a small landmass in the Land of the Sky with its own body of water with it. While Sonic the Hedgehog never had an adventure here, it did sure had some action, but his famous sidekick Tails.  Something Speedy would never forget. Grumbling to himself, he marches his way down the hall and enters through two large steel doors.  "So? What you have to report?" "We've search every network we have. Neither the Freak or any of his friends are on Mobius in either dimensions." "Splendid. If Tails is alive, it'll be too late. We already have a head start... but lets make Cocoa Island personal, shall we?" "Of course," The boy nodded, "Father." |

...and then, all of a sudden, cannon balls began hammering the side of wherever they happened to be parked. It seemed as if the invaders were being invaded. What a shock! And who were these invaders? Well, that's a simple one...  ...for right off the coast of where the Kukkus were hiding out, the sightings of a certain pirate ship could be seen.     A wide variety of various scoundrels, from Gooms to ducks to apes, were all scurrying around deck to fire off the cannons against their target, led by three individuals...  ...the first being a blue, warthog-like figure who was barking orders at the cannoneers...  ...the second being a larger Goom who was waving his spear in the air to boost morale among this motley crew...  ...and the third was a giant bird nestled atop the crow's nest; crawing out as the pirates struck home-free again. "C'mon, ye scoundrels; the Captain be wantin' results 'n booty fer our efforts! Put yer bones into it!" The pirates yelled in encouraging tones after the bird had spoken, as the ship drew closer to the Kukku's base. |

While the Gooms still operated the cannons, the ducks and apes retaliated against the Kukkus by tossing sharpened boomerangs and spiked balls right at them; creating a firefight of considerable proportions. Snorting, the warthog gave the larger Goom a nod. "Go on; give those birds a taste of the Black Sugar Gang's might!" With a fierce nod, the large Goom waved his spear around, and... didn't move, because how was he going to get to shore when there was more than enough water to separate the ship and the base? With a craw, the giant bird swooped down to grab the large Goom by the... well, body, in order to carry him over to where the Kukkus were firing... ...and once he was over them, he was dropped down behind them; snarling as he began charging through the Kukkus whilst ramming them with his spear. As he soared back to the ship, the bird didn't stop at the crow's nest; instead, he came to a halt by the cabin. "These guys got serious firepower, Captain... if the Spear Man falls, what do we do?"  "...keep fighting, Bobo." a voice spoke back to the bird. "I'll prepare the Mecha Kuri... it should be souped up enough to barrel through them." With a caw of approval, the bird, or Bobo, soared back up into the crows nest, to observe the battle further. |

    The Kukkus were blown back by the large spear man. The smaller men they can stand, but this big guy? BOOM!  Right out of the Kukku Base, a bird in a walker stomped its way and fired missles straight for the large Goom. Floating out of steel doors, Speedy loaded his gun and glared at the pirate ship. "These punks think they can invade us? Lets return the favour, TURKEYS, COVER ME!" |

Growling, the giant Goom charged right for the Kukku mech; braving through the explosions with winces as he prepared to plow through the mech. As for the ship, they seemed focused on fighting the other Kukkus, so they weren't taking notice of Speedy just yet. |

"Gt!" That rattled the mech, a few dents but the mech was still standing strong. "Oh, you want to play rough, huh-" Takes a look at the pirate, "What the hell are you anyway?" Shakes his head, the Kukku had his mech stomp onto the Goom. BANG! BANG! BANG! That was Speedy who took on several pirate minions on the enemy ship. Floating on the poo deck, he growled as he aimed his pistol at a crowd. "Do you losers think you have the right to invade my ship?!" Without thought, Speedy fired shot after shot at the pirates. |

Groaning from that, the Goom stepped back with a wicked headache, but that didn't stop it from charging at the mech once more. In the meantime, most of the pirates were quickly growing disorganized with this sudden attack... ...that is, until Bobo suddenly swooped down to slash his talons at Speedy. "How about you get away from our ship, runt?!" he hissed. Immediately, the pirates went back to firing at the Kukkus, whilst cheering on Bobo in the meantime... ...but as they were focused on that, the warthog had slipped beneath deck, without being noticed. |

ZIP! Like an anime hero, Speedy vanished from beneath the talons, and a green blur flew at the side of Bobo's head. "All birds belong to the Battle Bird Armada, going against use is treason!" Nearly invisible, a green blur made strikes at Bobo. RATTLE! "Ugh! This guy doesn't give up." Usually it takes their enemies using gadgets and weapons to defeat their walkers, but this large creature is fighting it without problems like Sonic or Knuckles would! "You want to play hardball, huh?" Pulling a lever, energy began gathering in the mech's nuzzle. |

With a loud squak as he was being pummeled, Bobo grit his beak as he glared at the blurs coming at him. "Gnh... the Black Sugar Pirates ain't gonna submit to any kind of armada, you... cheeky little duckling!" Him receiving this pummeling only prompted the pirates to cheer him on even more; moved by the display of their comrade standing his ground. The large Goom readied himself; prepared to take whatever that mech was planning on firing... ...but suddenly, a massive projectile shot out from the pirate ship... *BAM!!!* ...and slammed directly against the mech; threatening to just topple it over. It was the warthog who had been launched out; though the observant ones would see that he wasn't alone... in fact, he was riding on something, as big as the large Goom.  As it turned out, it was another Goom; though a cybernetic one, which seemed even more durable than the already gigantic Goom who had been fighting thus far. Snorting, the warthog cracked his knuckles. "Here's our true strength! You baby birds better go to sleep now!" Thundering cheers erupted from this sight... ...though from the cabin, there was silence. "...hm. He actually launched the Mecha-Kuri. Not bad." |

Speedy stop for one moment, tossing up and down a bomb in his wings. "So you want to be grilled or fried? Cause you're about to be-" BOOOOMMM!It wasn't Speedy's bomb, but an explosion from his ship that caused the explosion. "What the hell was that?" The Kukku mech was sent tumbling onto its knees, the laser it charged was sent mat at the Gooms. Even if it might hit them, the Kukku accidently shot the laser right through their own ship. "Uh-oh!" "Those morons!" The 15th snarled watching through the screens. Glaring at one of his underlings, "Send in the Pursuit Drones!" From the Kukku ship, windows and doors open up and metallic birds soared into the air and dropped bombs and lasers on the pirates.  |

The pirates began panicking, though they swiftly tried retaliating against this new threat they were facing off against. Though the Gooms had barely been scratched by that beam, they took that chance to start rampaging against the other Kukkus; giving them a harder time as they bowled their way through the crew. That left Bobo glaring at Speedy for a crucial moment... before he heard a whistle. With a craw, he flew right for the main cabin, where a figure was waiting for him. |

Kukkus were thrown around here and there but they were able to fight back. Since the bigger Goom came in, they were given a real challenge, and now there's two and a giant warthog monster! Thankfully the Pursuit Drones were giving a hand. "What the bloody hell is going-" BOOM! "GAH!" Speedy snarled as his own bomb blew in his own face. Getting a walkie-talkie. "GAH! I knew we should have deserted Bean! He could have been useful here.... Hey, where that giant crow go?" Suddenly out of the ship, a new type of robot rose. Though these one were huge and only came in a duo, rivaling the size of the Big Gooms.  As their breaking down ship rattled with their steps, the Mole Mechs slammed into the Gooms. |

The Gooms were knocked back, but the mechanic Goom rushed against them to slam into them. The organic Goom followed suite after recovering. In the meantime, the warthog was bowling through the Kukkus and Pursuit Drones who tried to take him down. In the meantime, Bobo was now flying towards where the commander of the Kukkus would most likely be hiding... ...while someone was riding on the big bird. |

"There he is...." Speedy growled, zipping after Bobo. "He's heading for the-" "Battle Lord, sir!" A Kukku saluted to the tall Mobian, "We've just gotten word that the enemy is making its way to our cockpit as we speak." "Really now?" Getting up from his seat, the bird cracked his knuckles. "Well then, lets show them a good show." |
