They're on top of a tree, though... or two... seperate... so, how the Yoshi can do that is beyond me...  ...hench why he didn't hear the voice as he blinked. "Goomba...? The heck...?" |

Chaun looked up at the two. Apparently they didn't hear him. He tried climbing up to them.  "I just had to forget the adventure pack today... This would be so much easier with a rope or something." He began to try climbing the tree up to them, falling several times. Just as he was about to reach the top though, he slipped and got his foot caught on one of the vines. He tried not to yelp as he almost hit the ground. Then getting stuck hanging there, he tried to reach up to untangle his foot but he couldn't grab the vine. The yoshi began to call for help. "Hey! I need some help! I know you guys are up there! Could you give me a hand! I hate hanging upside down..." Note: Edited my last post so this make more sense. Sorry didn't remember that Sonic was in the tree. |

 "'Cuse me for a moment." She said to Sonic, turning to the Yoshi, "Um... why not use those blocks over there shape like a stairway and jump on them? Wait..." Looks back at Sonic, "Why are we staying in this tree, anyway?" Making a running start, she hopped on one block to another to get get down. |

"There was a staircase?" Chaun looked around and spotted the blocks. "Just like me to miss the obvious way up." He concentrated and shifted his weight to grab the vine again, just barely grabbing his foot and untangling himself. The yoshi fell from the vine and made a not so graceful landing. On his back. "Ow... That's the last time I try climbing a tree without a ladder... " He looked over to the goomba. "Have I seen you before somewhere?" |

The yoshi turned his head in confusion. "Blue shells? Like, kart racing, Blue shells? I don't really pay attention to those tournaments. Most of the time when those show up I leave town for an adventure or something. Anyways, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Chaun, Adventuring Yoshi. So what brought you to the forest maze? I've just been coming here to search for some of the secrets of this place. Now where did I place my map." He looked around trying to find where he set it down. He didn't see it and became worried. "Please don't tell me I lost it... That was what I used to know which way out of the maze. That took me forever to chart out!" |

(Collab) BGM: AriesT - Forest Maze Trance Mix - Super Mario RPGBut as he raced in the endless forest path... "You won't get out like that, cosmic outsider." He screeched. "Eh?! Who's that?!" The elder voice sounded like he was sick, though. "Ohh...I am sorry. I am doing my best...to communicate with you from my prison...a-and this strange energy in the forest isn't helping..." "Prison? You okay? You don't sound good..." "The energy...it's...similiar to that ring...you used against Bows..." And he sounded like he passed out. "Wha...What?!" He darted his head about. He had to help this guy... But suddenly a green hue emitted around the trees. As if there was a heat wave, the entire forest rippled...and suddenly, morphed into a strange geological structure, but familiar to Sonic. Magic Rings, lined up on paths and floating platforms. And loops, springs, and spikes Oh my!. ".....whoa!! Thi-This looks like the stuff from my world!! But, how...?!" |

"World?" Unless this hedgehog is from another country (as world seem to be called in the Mushroom Kingdom) he must be an alien! But Goombella didn't ask any question as she was phased by the sudden transformation of the land. |

The yoshi jumped at the sudden changes. "So this is the secret of the Forest maze? What happened... And what are those rings? It's like the whole place just turned into a pinball machine." He looked at the slopes and loops. "I'm gonna have to get a close look at this." Suddenly the yoshi ran off in the direction of the loops. He turned back to the other two who were still stunned at the sight. "Well are you guys gonna check this out or not? We could make history here!" |

"You can check it out if you want!! I'm just gonna cut loose and have some fun!!!" He said... ...before zooming through the loops and collecting Rings as it's normal for him... "Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!" He whooped, hopping over platforms with his speed and skills. |

Going down a large slope, Sonic would find red large mushrooms lines on the curbs, near the hedges. But...ahead of his path, they popped up, sprouting small arms and hands.  Spinning around, they danced in the path, as if they were trying to get in Sonic's way. Of course, like that black dino said, this place was like a pinball, and these things are like bumper pins. |

Chaun watches as Sonic was bounced about. "An egg roll could be helpful here but I'm not risking getting dizzy." He just walked over to the loops and pulled out an adventure log. "Day 37, Exploring the forest maze..." He mumbled to himself as he took notes. Maybe he could write up an article for the mushroom times. "Ok that's that. Now to look around. Man it's times like these I wish I was a para-yoshi so I could get a better view." He turned back to the other two and realized he'd gone rambling on to himself. "Oh, sorry... I tend to talk to myself a lot. Anyways, what so you guys think cause the geological changes? I've been around this place for a long time and I've never seen anything like this." |
