Well, if we got Conker, why not these guys?
Name:
Banjo the Bear
Kazooie the Breegull
Nickname:
Bear and Bird
Age:
18 (Banjo), 19 (Kazooie)
Gender:
Male (Banjo), Female (Kazooie)
Species:
Bear (Banjo), Breegull (Kazooie)
Affiliation:
Good (Both)
Description:
Status:
Everyday Heroes
World:
Mushroom World
Location:
Spiral Mountain
Abilities:
On his own, Banjo can run, jump, roll, punch... um... that's generally it. Well, when Kazooie isn't around, he can use his backpack as a makeshift tool on its own; using it as a flail or as a means of getting around, as it's somehow capable of fitting objects (or people!) larger than itself, including Banjo.
Kazooie, on her own, can do quite much more without Banjo. She can use her legs to leap higher than most, she's capable of flight (being a bird, of course), and she can fire eggs out of both her mouth and rear.Wait, both of her holes have eggs coming out? That can't be healthy. These eggs aren't just normal eggs; they can be burning Fire Eggs, chilling Ice Eggs, explosive Grenade Eggs, and, most baffling of all, Clockwork Kazooie Eggs.
Together, the duo has access to a wide variety of moves... mostly involving Kazooie. Kazooie has enough strength to carry Banjo on her back to trot around, even fly whilst inside of Banjo's backpack. Banjo, in turn, can use Kazooie's egg-spitting ability as a means of carrying an actual firearm; using Kazooie as a rifle to fire out all varieties of eggs.
Weakness:
Their biggest weakness would undoubtedly be being separated from each other. It's most apparent with Banjo; even though he's a bit more durable than Kazooie on grounds of being a bear, he can't really do much without his partner. Kazooie, inversely, is a lot less durable than having Banjo's backpack as a shield, even though she's a lot more flexible.
POW Move:
Invincibility Feathers: What it says on the tin, if Kazooie shields Banjo with her wings whilst carrying specific golden feathers, she can turn the pair completely impervious to damage, and capable of plowing through just about anything with little to no problem.
Chaos/Magic Ability:
N/A (Though you could count specific abilities they gain from Mumbo Jumbo and Humba Wumba as this)
Personality:
Banjo is a straight man- er, bear. He's always kind and polite, and willing to help out others once he's been kicked into gear. A fault of his, though, is that he's a touch gullible, a tad naïve, and even a bit lazy when it comes to sleeping. In spite of this, he would never consider acting out of line...
...no, that would be Kazooie's department. She is, in contrast to Banjo, loud, sarcastic, and just plain rude. Even when faced against the most voracious of adversaries, Kazooie always finds the time to deliver some manner of insult to them without a moment's hesitation. Of course Banjo tries apologizing for her, but it doesn't help any once they've gotten in trouble. Still, she's fairly smart, and knows what has to be done moreso than Banjo; keeping him directed on a straight path. And yes, both of them do care for each other as the best of friends, in spite of their differences.
History:
Before the bear and bird met, Kazooie lived on Breegull Island for a while, while Banjo was traveling cross-country. On this journey, Banjo happened to take a rest on DK Isle, just when the alien Wizpig showed up to conquer it. Timber the Tiger called for immediate help from the various inhabitants, including a grown squirrel, a Kremling, a badger, a mouse, a turtle, and three Kongs; alongside a rooster and a stopwatch, and an elephant genie. Banjo were among them, and proved instrumental in beating Wizpig alongside everyone else; though he didn't stay for long afterwards, as he had traveling to do.
Eventually, though, the traveling grew tiresome, and Banjo settled back at home; though not before he encountered and befriended Kazooie, who became his most trusted comrade from then on. They stuck through thick and thin for a year, when one day, Banjo's sister, Tooty, was coming to visit him and go on an adventure with him and Kazooie. Unfortunately, by sheer dumb luck, Banjo's neighbor, the wicked witch Gruntilda, sought that precise moment to try and become beautiful, and intended to use Tooty to accomplish this. After she was kidnapped, Banjo and Kazooie enlisted the aid of the mole Bottles and the shaman Mumbo Jumbo to stop Gruntilda's ploy.
Thus, the bear and bird traversed through Gruntilda's illogically constructed castle, braving through Mumbo's home, a treasure-filled cove, a cavern homed by the cyborg shark Clanker, a swamp (which the turtle mentioned earlier, Tiptup, had taken to live in), a world of perpetual Christmas, a desert home to the camel Gobi, a haunted mansion, a run-down bay, and a forest housing the four seasons. Collecting Jiggies, Notes, and all sorts of stuff, Banjo and Kazooie braved through Gruntilda's trivia game, rescued Tooty, had a party a bit too early, buried the witch alive, and took a well-deserved vacation.
Too brief for ya? It gets better.
See, Gruntilda couldn't move her body from where a massive boulder had crushed her, so she initially had her servant, Klungo, build her a robotic body so she could travel in time to kidnap Kazooie and undo her defeat. Banjo had Mumbo transport him back in time as well, and after saving Kazooie, they bested Gruntilda once more. You would think, after two harrowing battles against the witch, they would be done, right?
Oh, you would be wrong.
You see, Gruntilda actually had two sisters the whole time, who took a good amount of time (two years, in fact) in getting to Spiral Mountain where they could blast the boulder keeping Gruntilda imprisoned. In that time, though, Grunty's body had rotted into mere bones, and she was hungry for vengeance... and a new body. In an attempt to kill Banjo and Kazooie, Grunty only managed to kill Bottles, which prompted the bear and bird to go on an even wilder adventure to stop her once more.
The adventure ended with yet another game show, which claimed the lives of Gruntilda's sisters, before Banjo and Kazooie confronted her atop her new fortress. It took some doing, but the duo finally defeated her, and Gruntilda's body was completely shattered, save for her animated skull, which promised that she would be back for the sequel. Though they can relax now, Banjo and Kazooie are always prepared for whenever the wicked witch will make her return...
Anything Else?:
...Nuts and Bolts? The heck is that?
In seriousness, for the sake of this RP... Nuts and Bolts never happened. It never existed. Just... just forget about it.
Cars? REALLY?
