Abilities:
Apart from being exceptionally skilled in the field of mechanics (at times even rivaling Doctor Eggman's creations), Tails' major strength lies in his two tails that can be spun like propellers, which not only increases his ground speed (at speeds that, whilst not as fast as Sonic, is still impressive), but also to the point that he can lift himself from the ground in flight. He also fights using an arm cannon that can shoot electric orbs, a pack of robotic mice-bombs, and even fake Power Rings.
Weakness:
Tails' most notable weakness is that he has a tendency to talk far too much, at times even spilling important knowledge to his enemies. He is also terrified of lightning, and often shows a lack of self-confidence (though he has shown to get over this weakness at times).
Chaos Ability:
Apart from the occasional Super-Transformation if he gathers seven of them, he has none, though he can at times power his creations with one, if neccessary.
Personality:
At first, when Tails met Sonic, he was more of a shy person, but as time went on, he opened up to his new friend. Also, though he at times shows a lack of confidence, he pulls through at times with heroic acts akin to what his friend could pull off.
History:
Having lived on his own as far back as he could remember, Tails was often mocked for his odd appearance; having two tails as opposed to just one. While he was affected by this scorn, he never did let it get him down too much; preferring to work on his own. This came to a head when he fended off an invading fleet of Battle Kukkus from his home island; after this, he moved to a different island.
Here, he encountered Sonic the Hedgehog, a figure that he instantly idolized, along with his speed. For a short while, Tails desired nothing but to run alongside the hedgehog... and surprisingly enough, he was fully capable of this; a feat even Sonic was impressed with. In turn, Tails grew a friendship with Sonic, and together, the two had dealt with Eggman on many an occassion, including their most recent foray against the scientist's forces...
