Abilities:
Merna has alll the basic hedgehog abilities such as homing attack, spin dash and the like. Only she can do underwater versions with them too. Being part fish, she can swim as fast as Sonic can run. Breathing and talking in the water is a simple task for her.
Weakness:
Being on land she lacks all the advantages she has. She can barely move but either crawling or spinning. Using it too much can leave her dizzy.
POW Move:
Kamehame Tsunami
Using her intense speed in the water, she can manipulate the water through waves and blast them at her opponents.
Chaos/Magic Ability:
With enough energy she can manipulate water itself with her will than trying to force it with waves. Not just use the water from water bodies, but also the air. She can attack with the water or even heal. With enough energy, like seven chaos emeralds, she can manipulate the water in one's body!
Personality:
Merna is like a wave, she goes with the flow. She's carefree, positive and very much a girly-girl. She cares deep for the oceans and does what she can to protect it. She knows she can't do much on land, but if needed she's willing to go on the surface do to what she could.
History:
Legends say in the oceans in the Land of Darkness, a whole island sank eons ago. It inhabitants however did not drown, but a miracle happened. A city for mermaid Mobians rose on this island. While their dominion expanded to different oceans, the city on Sunken Island was its capital. Merna, a young Merhog is a resident. At times underwater robots and sea monsters have attacked the city, and it was Merna who tended to lead the attack, ending up being a hero for the underwater kingdom. Though while she loves her home, she honestly hopes for adventures elsewhere in the oceans and even on land.
