Name:
¢¾¢Ü!?
Nickname:
Geno
Age:
Gender:
Male
Species:
Star being
Affiliation:
Good
Description:
Status:
Guardian of the Star Road
Location:
Star Road
Abilities:
Geno has a variety of attacks which use a mix of physical and energy projectiles; being capable of shooting physical projectiles from his arms, and possessing special attacks which typically involve powerful energy blasts. He's surprisingly fast and powerful; something he himself notes is a result of the wooden doll he possesses.
Geno Beam - Charging up his energy, Geno shoots a deadly energy beam at one enemy.
Geno Boost - Using magic, Geno boosts an ally's attack.
Geno Blast - Geno summons light energy from the sky, damaging all enemies.
Weakness:
The most crippling flaw of Geno lies in his durability; due to his wooden body, he's a lot more likely to keel over from exceptionally powerful blows, and of course you don't want to accidentally strike him with fire... or purposefully. Because fire is generally a bad thing when combined with wood.
POW Move:
Geno Whirl - Geno throws a disk of light at one enemy, which, with good enough timing, could potentially knock out someone instantly.
Chaos/Magic Ability:
Geno Flash - Amassing the power of the largest star in the vicinity, Geno transforms into a large cannon, then shoots a large ball of energy at the entire opposition.
Personality:
Geno is strongly confident with an attitude to boot; unlike someone like Bowser, whose confidence stems from an ego and narcissistic problem, Geno is just more of a rebellious character. He also tends to show a lot of enthusiasm, even when he tries to relay what he's learned to those knowing less than him. This may stem from him being a relatively younger Star being than the more sage variants.
History:
When the Smithy Gang suddenly attacked the Mushroom Kingdom, the mighty sword Exor shattered the Star Road as he descended upon Bowser's Keep for Smithy and his crew to take over. With the Star Pieces spread across the kingdom, all wishes were unable to be granted; thus, the Star Spirits had ¢¾¢Ü!? travel to recover the Star Pieces and stop the Smithy Gang.
When Mario and Mallow arrive in Rose Town, a place beseiged by the Smithy Gang, the former was asked by a mother to play with her son, Gaz. Gaz possessed four wooden dolls; one of Mario, one of Princess Peach, one of the Koopa King Bowser, and a fourth one which he had called Geno. As they played, the fourth doll somehow proved powerful enough to blast Mario clear across the room and knock him out.
That night, ¢¾¢Ü!? took the opportunity to find a host to use as a vessel for him to fulfill the duties the Star Spirits had given him, and he proved his worth quickly by single-handedly defeating Bowyer, the Smithy Gang member who had been harassing Rose Town all this time. He told his story to Mario and Mallow, and took to following them to save the kingdom.
After recruiting Peach and Bowser to fight alongside them, the five finally arrived to battle against Smithy himself, who they all managed to defeat in a stunning display of power from all fronts. As they recovered the final Star Piece, Geno decided to leave for the Star Road once more; bidding his friends farewell before he left the wooden doll; allowing the Star Road to be repaired. Since then, he has returned to guarding the Star Road from those who would seek to misuse it.
