I think I heard someone say that more Kongs are needed.
Name:
Diddy Kong
Age:
14
Gender:
Male
Species:
Kong/Chimpanzee
Affiliation:
Good
Description:
Status:
Sidekick to DK
Location:
Congo Bongo/DK Isles
Abilities:
To contrast his uncle's greater strength, Diddy is a lot more nimble and agile; showing great feats of acrobatics such as cartwheeling into his foes, or using his prehensile tail as either a spring or an actual weapon against his enemies. He's also proficient in the useage of not only a pair of Peanut Pop Guns, but a jetpack to carry him across large distances.
Weakness:
His most glaring flaw is his overall lack of power; unlike his much stronger uncle, Diddy can't exactly brute-force his way through hairy situations; instead having to rely on his own wits and agility to get out of sticky situations.
POW Move:
N/A
Chaos/Magic Ability:
N/A
Personality:
Energetic and cheerful to a fault, Diddy is a stark contrast to the more slacking kind of his best friend Donkey; always eager for any kind of adventure no matter how perilous it may prove itself to be. Taking cues from certain movies, he uses some mannerisms from those movies, including wearing his cap backwards at times, or holding his peanut pop guns sideways; apparently thinking that it's a better way of handling his weapon.
History:
Up until the first encounter against the wicked pirate and ruler of the Kremlings, King K. Rool, Diddy's childhood was relatively uneventful; growing up in awe at how his uncle's strength was developing, and being inspired to one day become just as great a warrior as he was. One day, he thought he had been given his great chance, as Donkey actually assigned him to guard the Golden Banana Horde for a day. Eagerly, he took the job...
...and the following night, ended up being taken captive by a Krusha, who sealed him in a barrel; letting them steal the bananas so K. Rool could go after the Crystal Coconut, an artifact Diddy knows little to nothing about. Thankfully, Donkey helped him out, and together the two of them journeyed to stop K. Rool's scheme.
Only a few scant weeks later, though, Donkey was kidnapped by the Kremling Krew once again, and K. Rool, now taking on the name of Kaptain, demanded both the Crystal Coconut and the Golden Banana Horde from the Kongs, unless he decide to kill the gorilla. Since he and his uncle went to such degrees to retrieve the horde earlier, Diddy was more than eager to promptly waltz up to the crocodiles and beat them silly. To this end, he received aid from a female Kong called Dixie, who he'd eventually enter a relationship with over the course of the journey; something which proved pivotal for Dixie and her cousin Kiddy to come and save Donkey and Diddy the third time K. Rool tried going after the Crystal Coconut.
From then on, Diddy's been Donkey's faithful sidekick; actually getting along with his uncle's supposed rival Mario and his gang of friends whenever they'd invite him and Donkey over for some kind of gathering. Though curious about the nature of this rivalry, Diddy's never really inquired into it; preferring the sense of mystery to it all.
