Name:
Luigi
Nickname:
Weegie, Mr. Green, Other-Guy, Mario’s Brother
Age:
25 (If you play Luigi’s Mansion and then Mario and Luigi Superstar 2, you get the clues. No exceptions!)
Gender:
male
Species:
human
Affiliation:
Coward--Er, Good
Description:
Status:
Plumber, part-time hero kingdom
Location:
Mushroom Kingdom, formerly Brooklyn
Abilities:
He possess seemingly super human strength, allowing him to break brick walls, jump higher than any pro basketball player, and run faster than any pro Olympic sprinter. Also, he can jump higher than his brother and run faster, but he has little coordination and traction.
Weakness:
Simply put, he can get easily scared; a coward in most situations. He's got a weakness for financial gain. And by weakness I mean a crippling flaw. And by a crippling flaw, I mean he'd lead Mario right into a trap if it was by following a trail of gold coins.
POW Move:
Super Jump Punch: This uppercut possess so much power, it sends the target to the sky.
Chaos/Magic Ability:
Negative Zone: Luigi dances, and a large, greenish-tint void surrounds him. Inside the void, the colors of the environment, the other characters inside the void, and Luigi himself become inverted with a Negative-like effect. Opponents caught in the void fall victim to all sorts of afflictions given out randomly to opponents.
Personality:
Luigi lacks Mario's confidence for the most part and he knows this. Oh boy, does he know it. Because of this, he usually never adopts a believable leadership attitude regardless of situation, and tends to be socially awkward to an absolute fault.
What's a word that means a fear of everything...? Oh yes, that's right: paranoia. Up until recently, Luigi's been scared out of his socks by every little thing that saw fit to look at him funny. As of his and Mario's second space voyage, he's gotten much better about this, even actually seeking adventures of his own. However, his little ghost hunt from before only strengthened his fear of the supernatural, and he still has quite the problem with any ghostly situations.
Luigi normally is very meek, in a charmingly timid sort of way. However, then you introduce him to a valuable gemstone or a bar of gold and oh dear god, stop pulling, you're gonna yank off my arm! ...Yeah. Luigi is very motivated by the wealth. If you offer him and his bro something shiny for their trouble, Luigi's your man for the job.
History:
When Mario claimed a girl had came out of the TV and was abducted by a monster, Luigi just thought he was playing too many video games. Then he saw Peach's broach, and the floodgates opened for a treasure-hunting Weege, following steadily behind his heroic brother. Their first adventure had Mario and Luigi splitting up at times, which led to the younger brother succeeding in saving Mario twice by extinguishing a lava pit and finding his Starman. When they left, Weege was lucky enough to keep all the gold coins they'd found, but little did he know they would be going back for more.
He and Mario went on several more adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom, eventually living there. Despite this, it seemed that every other time, Luigi was left behind or cast aside. However, one night after Mario expelled Bowser from Peach's castle and its magical paintings, Luigi came to win a mansion in a contest he never even entered. It was all a trap set by King Boo to take vengeance on Mario, and nab Luigi as an extra. Fortunately, ghost-hunter extraordinaire Professor E. Gadd took the younger brother under his wing in an apprenticeship to stop the Boos and save Mario. With Gadd's guidance, Luigi not only triumphed over the undead menace, but got his own mansion out of all the money he earned! (And believe me, there was plenty.)
That triumph brought out something powerful in the younger brother. Although he was just as terrified of ghosts as ever, flying solo helped steel his nerves enough that he seeks adventure on his own! ...Sometimes. At least, he doesn't outright run from danger anymore. He tests Gadd's new gear every now and again, and always has at least a few bold words to toss at Bowser before ducking behind a brick wall.
It was discovered he and his brother really were born in the Mushroom World; defending the princess even as infants. But later on, their parents fled to Earth, due to so many Koopas invading their house.
Anything Else?:
That's right...I'm adapting the old anime to this, while also the real world story. Yeah, the real world thing does not imply to the games, anymore, but dammit, I enjoy that story.
