Wario just needs to get the treasure, and-"Luigi!" an incredibly familiar voice called, as someone was heading towards the green-capped plumber from across the street...  ...that certain someone being the all-too-recognizeable Super Mario himself; a smile adorned on his face as he waved at his younger brother. She jolted up at that. She and Mario might get along good still, but sometimes it get nervous when around him in case there might still be feelings trying to unbury themself, but Pauline does her best to keep them buried. "Oh, hey 'boss'. You coming for the party?" |

Which he was subtlity protective of his brother, when it came to her. She could very well get in the way between Mario and Peach. Anywho... "Mario, the chief said a speedy porcupo is here. This fella made a mockery of the police..." And he shown pics of the hedgehog making the police look like fools. There was blurry pics of him escaping the shell of doom.
Meanwhile, Sonic would find gold question blocks. |

As Pauline asked him that, Mario gave her a brief nod and an "Mhm" to top it off. Honestly, he really wasn't bitter over Pauline's decision, and they were still friends, so really, there wasn't really a problem. When Luigi brought his attention to the pictures of the hedgehog, Mario simply hummed and rubbed his chin in thought. "...a speedy porcupo?" Wario tilted his head with a grunt. "And they couldn't even catch it?" With yet another hum, he looked back at Luigi. "Dove hanno scorso vedere il porcospino?" he spoke curiously; of course, even if his English wasn't entirely as good as Luigi's or Wario's were, those surrounding him would still understand him even if they didn't speak a lick of Italian. (*Translation: Where did they last see the porcupine?) |

And being Italian, he understood. "Uh...here..." Figuring something out, he looked at the river. "...in the river..."
But when he stepped on the block, a frog suit magically broke out and wrapped around Sonic. With a poof of bubbles, Sonic adonned the suit, able to breathe underwater.... ....and swim. |
