 Humming, Mario glanced towards the river.  "...wait... you mean the meteor was that porcupa?" Wario sputtered. "That's... c'mon, who would be dumb enough to-!" *SPLASH* And in that moment, Mario was gone; a mere splash in the river indicating where he had taken a dive into it.
Holding his breath, Mario simply swam through the river and began looking for any signs of that porcupine his brother had showed pictures of. If he had picked a fight with the police... |

Wario just shrugged at that, as he approached the two to look at the pictures too.
Well, Sonic... ...how about a plumber wearing red swimming right next to you, looking at you with a curious expression even as he held his breath? |

With a hum, the plumber simply grabbed hold of Sonic's arm- not in a forceful grip, mind you- before proceeding to swim up towards the surface...
"Wah..." Wario grunted as he picked at his nose whilst looking at the photos. "...so what's so special about some porcupa, anywa-" *SPLASH* And, from further down the river, they'd see two figures splashing out from the water and landing on the opposite side of them... ...one of them being Mario, who wringed a solid amount of water from his cap. |

Even Wario was speechless at this part; blinking oddly at that. As he set his cap back on his head, Mario turned to Sonic and set his hands on his hips. "...who are-a you?" he inquired unto the hedgehog; figuring that the hedgehog probably didn't speak Italian, so he could try to communicate with the being as best he could. |

Adjusting his cap, he gave Sonic a nod. "I'm-a Mario!" he introduced, before he nodded. "What are-a you doing-a here-a?" Not that he ever seemed to be bothered by it, but even Mario knew that his accent probably wasn't the best for communicating with foreigners. |
