Toad Town: Party At The Palace?

He whistled. "Not-a bad place!! Hey, Mario... what did the green guy meant about kidnapping?"

Mario simply shrugged, as if to say "you'll see" to the hedgehog.

[AnT]

"Well, from what I read, this Princess Peach Toadstool gets kidnapped by a King Bowser Koopa, like, every other week."

"Hey that's not true!" he shot back as they entered through the large red doors. "....it's more like every month...and I'm-a Luigi..."

And as pictured, it was majestic, inside, with the walls painted like the sky.

"Sorry about that, Luigi!" He said, patting the guy on the back. "And I'm guessing this Bowser guy is kidnapping this Princess because... well... she's a Princess and wants to rule a kingdom, right?"

"Mhm." Mario nodded with a light shrug; there really wasn't much motivation for Bowser to keep kidnapping her aside from ruling the kingdom and marrying her.

"Ah, Master Mario!" Then came a short elderly mushroom, dressed like a sterotypical English man; complete with a cane and monicule. "So good of you to come." Blinking at the newcomers, "I say, who might you two be?"

"Oh, I'm Sally Acorn...an archlogist. And this is Sonic the Hedgehog, world hero of our home planet."

"Hi!" He grinned with a wave.

Flinching at Sonic, "Now, aren't you that...fellow in the news who harrased the police?!"

"Uhhh..." Trying to defuse the tension, "It was a...grave misunderstanding."

"Not when they harrased me first..." He dryly said with his arms crossed.

With a hum, Mario simply adjusted his cap a touch whilst glancing at Sonic, before giving the elderly mushroom a small nod; smiling to show that he was grateful to be here.

Giving a bow to the elder, "Sir, we're here to address to the princess about some concerns that could threaten your kingdom."

The girl was poliete, but he really doesn't trust the rodent. But they were with Mario, and he trusts his judgement. But he is still keeping an eye on Sonic. "Very well. Her highness will arrive shortly."

"Sure, okay..." He said, putting his hands behind his head. "Can't wait for the party."

"I been to parties like these. I don't think they're your scene." she whispered to Sonic. "It's just a bunch of rich fat cats just talking, and nothing else."

Mario glanced at Sonic with a bit of a smile. "It's-a grand!" he spoke; personal experience dictated that any party the princess would throw was bound to be an adventure in and of itself.

"So... either settle into a party... or go and find Tails..." He muttered to himself.
