Before any suggestions could be made, a toad guard approached. "Hey, the princess would like to see you all in her quarters." "Oh does she?" Looking up at the group. "Master Mario! Master Luigi! If you and your new friends may follow us?" And with that, the two toads walked up the flight of stairs, leading to some doorways.

"...let's-a go, then!" With a smile, Mario followed the toads, whilst motioning for the others to follow suite.

He sighed and shrugged, following them...

It seemed like they were walking up many floors. Long spiral stairs, a hall that looks like an art museum, more flight of stairs, until they finally made it up before large red doors with a star in the center. "Mama mia...when you gonna make an elevator?" he panted. Must be a pain to see the princess when doing public requests. That was quite the hike.

Oh, but Mario didn't seem to mind that; he was used to vigorous routines of exercising, after all.

As for him... "...I'll meet you at the top..." He said, revving his feet to head up stairs... this'll be easy for him...

But his arm was hooked by Toadsworth's cane. "Don't you dare! We are at the throne room door, so mind your manners." And when the doors opened, the first thing they would see is a giant grandfather clock, down in thr room.

Oh, the memories of that giant clock... the outright freaky memories of a world being inside of the clockwork... not that it was freaky to Mario, no sir.

"...how often is everyone kept awake when it rings it's bell...?" He dryly asked.

BGM: Peach's CastlePast many tiny toad guards stood, from her throne, a tall blonde woman with an elegant pin gown. A woman who looked like she could never hurt a fly, she was. "Oh...Mario! Are these the people from Mushroom City?" Looking back down at the elder shroom, he motioned the Mobians to walk down the red carpet, toward the princess. Sally carefully did so, hoping not to look insulting before a princess. After all, she was covered in dust, and her hair a mess. "Um...hello, your highness." she nervously greeted, bowing. "I'm Sally Acorn...a archaeologist...and this is..."

Mario did a courteous bow, and nodded at the princess' question.

"Sonic!! Sonic the Hedgehog!!" He grinned, zipping up to the Princess. "What's up, Princess?"

Bonk!! And the old man knocked Sonic's head with his cane. "See here, that is quite rude to be addressing the princess in such a manner." "Toadsworth, please." she calmly hushed. Clearing her throat, she nodded. "I am Princess Peach Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom. I was warned by the chief who feared Sonic here would arrive to kidnap me." "Uh...I apologize for Sonic. He gets a bit...'anxious' when harassed." "Yes. Well you have to understand, different species are sometimes look with suspicion, because some of them work for our worst enemies, like Bowser Koopa, or Wart. Sonic here looks a little like a Porcupo, creatures of Wart."

Rubbing his head where the bump is, he grits his teeth. "What the heck is a Porcupo...?"

"Porcupo is-a porcupine." Mario remarked with a bit of a chuckle; figuring that it would have been a lot more obvious to the blue, porcupine-like creature Sonic was.
