Robotropolis: Hours ago....

Sadly, these machined like weaponry...just brute force...and hover boots. So the giant robots chased Sonic down a massive hallway. In Sonic's path, another mech smashed through the wall, hoping to cut him off.

"Wh-Whoa!" And quickly took a right to get away from the machine, going through another tunnel as he continued to zoom off...

[Alien-Child]

"He's just asking for trouble, like usual." Knuckles groaned, hearing the smashing from where he stood.

[YolkaEd]

Grunting in pain, Tails got out of his plane, as he looked at Knuckles. "...so... what do we do now?"

As Sonic was dashing through that tunnel, though...



...this robotic hedgehog stood in his way; energy charging in his chest. "...farewell." And a beam shot out to try and strike the hedgehog.

And plowing through the building, as if it was built with twigs, the robots hammered their massive arms down upon the hedgehog.

He quickly ducked from the laser blast, hands on floor as it went over his head... before pushing himself backwards to allow the fists of the robots to smash into the ground...

...and he sat on one of the robot's heads, making faces at Metal Sonic. "Missed me, Tinhead!! Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!"

"Make sure he doesn't do something stupid!" Rushing off the pile of rubble, Knuckles glide to a wall and smash a giant hole, making an entrance for him through.

Sonic wouldn't be able to do that, for the robot was now the new target for Metal's blast. It was so powerful, it can punch a truck clear off a street, which was exactly what happened with the robot.

"Hey hey hey!" He grinned at Metal Sonic. "Thanks for clearing away that bot for me!"

...knowing Sonic, that's too much to ask for... Tails noted to himself, as he swiftly fluttered out after Knuckles.

He shook his head. "Right; this is the part where you try agitating me by pointing out that I destroyed the robots on accident. Cute."

Then, in a blue blur, Metal stood behind Sonic. "But that's getting old." And he threw a kick at Sonic.

He ducked and did a sweeping kick at Metal's legs. "Just like your bragging on your delutions, Tinbot!"

[Alien-Child]

Through concrete and metal, Knuckles was making a path for himself and Tails. His knuckles was turning them into scrap in mere minutes as he makes his way to where the sound of Sonic's battle is coming from.

Narrowing his eyes a touch, Tails flew after Knuckles; being able to overtake him if he didn't want for Knuckles to lead the way for now...

Metal evaded that by activating his jet and simply lifting his other leg up in the air. "But I haven't been bragging... today, at least." he remarked dryly, before slamming the same leg down on Sonic.

Because he was on the ground, he used his hand to pushed him out of the way of Metal's kicks. "Really? A new record for you, Tinhead!"

He took at his "watch". "Anyway, haven't got time to deal with you... got a date with Eggman and his moaning! See ya!!"

And because Metal wasn't standing at the exit of the tunnel, he ran through it...

Gritting, he nervously paced around a generator console, in the middle of a computer room. Here he was, trying to boot up his generator, and he has that annoying hedgehog in his city. Neither of his machines can even hold him down for just a few minutes, but at least all access in his base has been sealed with solid steel, even the air vents.

And because of this, Sonic will never get his room, in time.
